Job summary
Crabtree Valley Dental in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant to join a patient-centered team. You will chairside assist clinicians, prepare patients for treatment, and help maintain a clean, organized operatory.
We seek at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, and an active NC dental assistant license with certification. Benefits include PTO, 401K, medical/dental/vision, life disability, and opportunities for professional growth.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of dental assisting clinical experience.
- Active NC dental assistant license.
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- Understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Experience with digital software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentists chairside
- Welcomes patients
- Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
- Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
- Instrument sterilization according to regulations
- Maintains accurate patient records
- Lab tasks as instructed
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain clean and stocked operatories
