Job summary

Canteen, a division of Compass Group USA, is hiring a full-time Transport Driver in Fremont, CA. You will operate a company-owned vehicle along an established route, delivering products and providing service with a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Requirements include a valid C class driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent; schedule is Sunday through Thursday with hours that may vary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license (C class) is required.
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills with a service/quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Responds to transport requests with urgency to meet delivery goals
• Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
• Completes necessary logs and reports
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Resolves or reports vehicle, building, security, or safety issues to management
• Performs other duties as assigned
