Job summary

Northern Sales Company in Fairbanks, AK is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver / Merchandiser to support customer orders, stock shelves, and assist warehouse operations. The role typically runs 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with overtime possible based on demand.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, and being at least 23 years old due to insurance. Two years of delivery experience are preferred; starting pay is $23 per hour with benefits after

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must be at least 23 years old due to insurance requirements.
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Two years of delivery experience preferred.
• Knowledge of non-CDL box truck operation and applicable regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivering customer orders and check in products with each customer’s receiver.
• Stock and merchandise store shelves, coolers, and displays; rotate products and remove unsellable items.
• Organize backstock and maintain clean work areas.
• Assist with sorting and staging orders for next-day delivery in a dry warehouse environment as needed.
• Use a forklift to unload incoming and/or outgoing freight.
• Report order discrepancies and damaged merchandise to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
• Complete required paperwork, including bills of lading, invoices, and credits or returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
