Job Title: Customer Service Associate

This is a full-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop.

Responsibilities include preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Fresh Foods Standards. Also, providing customer service, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage products according to standards.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Essential Duties: Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Associates must be at least 18 years old.
2. Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to participate in training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
3. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent.
4. Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and communication in English. Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
5. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers using units of American money and weight measurement.
6. Reasoning Ability: Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions and handle problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
7. Certificates and Licenses: Completion of company training including orientation, food sanitation, safety, and product knowledge.
8. Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, handle, reach, talk, hear, taste, and smell regularly. Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required include close, color, and depth perception.
