Job summary

Willowcreek Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic nursing care under supervision. You will assist residents with bathing, grooming, hygiene, and use of adaptive equipment, and help with bed changes and linens.

Prior registry-verified CNA training ensures you can read and follow procedures. Responsibilities include participating in shift handoffs, explaining procedures to residents, and ensuring comfort and safety during care delivery.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program; Name must appear on State Registry as Nurse Aide in good standing.
• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff; Must have the ability to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with resident care including bathing, grooming, hygiene and placement of adaptive equipment.
• Explains procedures to residents before administering.
• Keeps residents dry (changes gown, clothing, linen, etc., when it becomes wet or soiled).
• Changes bed linens and keeps linens tight to avoid wrinkles from forming under residents.
• Makes beds (occupied and unoccupied).

Objective
