Job summary

Johnson Brothers in Garner, NC is seeking a full-time warehouse team member to receive, scan, and store product using scanners and a Warehouse Management System to ensure accurate inventory. You will replenish locations, and prepare orders for selection in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Candidates must be able to lift 40–60 lbs repeatedly, work independently, and complete forklift certification. A high school diploma or GED is required and prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Job Description: We are currently looking for a Full-Time team member at our new facility in Garner, NC.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receiving product from suppliers - ensuring accuracy of incoming inventory using scanning devices
• Put away inbound pallets of freight in both racked and bulk locations.
• Replenish locations for selection.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System bar code scanning system to accurately account for and locate product.
• Ensure all damaged products are properly removed from inventory and handled in accordance with procedures.
• Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment.
• Complete forklift certification program.
• Order selection following standard processes
• Follow all safety and cleanliness protocols
• Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to operate scanning devices.
• Ability to work independently, be self-managed and motivated to meet deadlines.
• Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs. repeatedly.

Years of Experience

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• 2+ years of experience preferred

Education

• Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent or equivalent experience.
