Job summary

Big-Bend-Woods-1 is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long-term care facility in Missouri on a full-time basis. The role emphasizes patient assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide person-centered care.

The ideal candidate will have an active RN license, LTC experience, and proficiency with PCC EMR. Strong communication and wound care skills are essential for delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with current registration in Missouri.
• Experience in long-term care or nursing homes preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (PCC) and ICD coding helpful.
• Strong clinical skills: IV insertion, medication administration, wound care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and injections accurately.
• Monitor residents and document in EMR/EHR with timely updates.
• Provide wound care including suturing and ostomy management.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists for treatment planning.
• Assist with diagnostic evaluations and specimen collection.
• Educate residents and families on health management and discharge planning.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of records.
