Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program (must present diploma within 90 days).
• Completion of Medical Assistant externship (160 hours).
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical and clerical support to providers and patient care teams by performing back-office and patient-related tasks.
• Helps ensure smooth patient and workflow within the department and assists in implementing the medical plan of care.
