Lakewood in Richmond/Henrico, VA seeks a dependable Housekeeper for a full-time daytime role. Schedule is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday with every other weekend. You will clean and maintain common areas, monitor cleanliness, and ensure supplies are stocked.

You will interact respectfully with residents and team members, follow procedures, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for our community.

Qualificações

• Dependable and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to work 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday–Friday with every other weekend.
• Able to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and maintain assigned areas throughout the community.

Schedule

Full-Time: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

• Monday through Friday
• Every other weekend required
• Consistent daytime schedule

Position Responsibilities

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout assigned areas of the community.

Responsibilities include:

• Clean and maintain assigned areas throughout the community
• Regularly inspect areas for cleanliness and address areas requiring attention
• Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and necessary equipment
• Keep cleaning supplies and equipment clean, organized, and readily accessible
• Check cleaning equipment daily for proper operation
• Report equipment malfunctions, damage, or safety concerns
• Maintain required housekeeping logs and records accurately and on time
• Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules
• Follow infection control, safety, hazardous waste removal, and other company policies and procedures
• Interact respectfully and professionally with residents, guests, families, and team members
• Work effectively as part of a team
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.

Requirements include:

• Ability to work 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday
• Ability to perform routine and repetitive cleaning tasks
• Ability to organize tasks and maintain an effective workflow
• Pleasant personality and patience when interacting with residents, guests, and team members
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel housekeeping, healthcare environmental services, senior living, janitorial services, commercial cleaning, or related work is preferred but not required.
