Job summary

The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs (ODVA) is seeking full-time Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) to provide direct care at Claremore Veterans Home. Salary scales are Level I at $20/hour or Level II at $22/hour with a day shift 6:30 AM–7:00 PM and every other weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Level I requires LTC certification in good standing.
• Level II requires one year of patient care experience and LTC certification.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Chart observations and report changes to supervisors.
• Escort patients and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Order, receive and store supplies and perform basic clerical functions.
• Assist with nursing duties under supervision.
