Job summary

Lone Star is hiring a Team Member for the Van Alstyne, TX location. You will operate the cash register, greet customers, stock shelves, unpack shipments, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.

The role requires flexible area coverage, strong customer service, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. This is a full-time position with focus on teamwork and sales support.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work any area of the c-store when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
• Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and provide accurate change to cash-paying customers
• Show customers the locations of items they are looking for and suggest complementary items when appropriate
• Greet customers when they walk through the door and ask if they need assistance
• Pay attention to shoppers on the floor and notify management of any possible shoplifting activity
• Restock shelves and coolers when needed to ensure the optimum availability of products
• Unpack shipments in the store room and categorize them appropriately
• Clean and maintain the inside and exterior of the convenience store and ensure that trash cans are properly emptied and cleaned
• Clean and maintain men's and women's to our Royal Restrooms standards.
• Work any area of our store when needed.
• Contribute to a positive atmosphere by providing excellent customer service and fostering team spirit
