Lone Star Food Stores and Stir-Up Liquor Store in Bartonville, TX is seeking a Team Member to operate the register, assist customers, and maintain store cleanliness. You will greet customers, locate items, and help with stocking and housekeeping in a fast-paced convenience setting.

The role emphasizes friendly, responsive service and teamwork to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers. Training on POS and store policies will be provided.

Qualificações

• Operate the computerized POS system/cash register.
• Stand, bend, and walk throughout shift; lift up to 30 lb.
• Strong focus on customer service and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the cash register and provide accurate change to cash-paying customers.
• Show customers the locations of items they are looking for and suggest complementary items when appropriate.
• Greet customers when they walk through the door and ask if they need assistance.
• Pay attention to shoppers on the floor and notify management of any possible shoplifting activity.
• Restock shelves and coolers to ensure optimal product availability.
• Unpack shipments in the store room and categorize them appropriately.
• Clean and maintain the inside and exterior of the convenience store and ensure trash cans are emptied and cleaned.
• Maintain Royal Restrooms standards for men’s and women’s facilities.
• Work any area of the store as needed.
• Contribute to a positive atmosphere by providing excellent customer service and fostering team spirit.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate the cash register and provide accurate change to cash-paying customers
• Show customers the locations of items they are looking for and suggest complementary items when appropriate
• Greet customers when they walk through the door and ask if they need assistance
• Pay attention to shoppers on the floor and notify management of any possible shoplifting activity

• Unpack shipments in the store room and categorize them appropriately
• Clean and maintain the inside and exterior of the convenience store and ensure that trash cans are properly emptied and cleaned
• Clean and maintain men’s and women’s to our Royal Restrooms standards.
• Work any area of our store when needed.
• Contribute to a positive atmosphere by providing excellent customer service and fostering team spirit

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work any area of the c-store when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
• Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
