Job summary

Ohio Living Llanfair is seeking a Culinary and Nutritional Service Associate I or II to provide daily meals and snacks that are nutritious and appealing for residents. You will assist in serving meals, deliver food carts and trays, and ensure portions are correct and presentation is inviting.

You will help maintain cleanliness and safety of culinary areas, support events, and participate in quality control, infection prevention, and records documentation. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day culinary functions to serve meals and snacks appetizing in appearance.
• Assists in serving meals and delivering carts/trays to designated areas.
• Serves food following established portion control procedures.
• Keeps culinary work areas, equipment clean, sanitary and safe.
• Assists in cleaning tasks and special event planning/preparation.
• Distributes and counts menus as needed.
• Maintains QA and infection control practices; protects resident care information.
• Shares observations to improve quality and efficiencies.
• Listens to and assists residents and staff; helps visitors feel welcome.
• Maintains records using computers per standards; performs other duties as assigned.
