Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus homes and guide 8-13 students daily. The role starts with nine days on, then three off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living in the same home group.

Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing routines, transporting to activities, and leading devotions. Comprehensive benefits and relocation/training are offered.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities, and planning and engaging in activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
