Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes, caring for groups of 8-13 students. The role involves supervision, guidance, and ensuring student wellness in a structured, family-like environment.

Hired couples follow a nine-on, three-off schedule, with potential progression to a placed houseparent role, living with the same student group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older; commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Drive and plan developmental activities with students.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel participation.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
