Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks a dedicated married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus. You will reside in on-campus student homes, supervise 8-13 students, coordinate daily routines, activities, devotions, and chapel attendance, while supporting their academic and social development.

This two-person role requires both spouses to be at least 27 years old, with a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to drive student vans.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple required.
• Age 27 or older for both spouses.
• No more than three dependent children in home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
