Job summary

Sunnyvale Gardens Post Acute is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team in Sunnyvale, CA. This full-time, benefited role offers compensation ranging from $45 to $50 per hour and the chance to impact residents’ daily functioning.

You will work under an OT, implement individualized plans, document progress, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings while educating residents and families on independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Current California COTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• SNF experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed OT.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to help residents improve functional skills.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support resident-centered care.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on techniques that support independence and safety.
