Job summary
Excelsior Care Group's Briarcliff Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care in Briarcliff Manor, NY, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the team full-time. You will assist with resident evaluations, participate in treatment plans, support ADLs, and help residents regain independence through personalized therapy.
Candidates must hold a NY State COTA license; experience with Net Health is a plus; prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is
Qualifications
- Current New York State COTA License.
- Experience using Net Health software preferred.
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with resident evaluations and development of treatment plans.
- Support residents in ADLs and therapeutic exercises.
- Help residents work toward rehabilitation and independence goals.
- Monitor, document, and report resident progress and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with regulatory standards.
