Job summary

Yanceyville Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Yanceyville, NC is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our long-term care team. You will provide therapeutic interventions under supervision of an OT and support residents' rehab goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a BA or Associate in Occupational Therapy recognized by AOTA.
• Current OT license/registration in the state (as applicable).
• SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OT treatment under supervision of an OT according to state guidelines.
• Identify appropriate patients and refer them to rehab as needed.
• Document daily participation and progress with co-signature by the OTR.
• Ensure orders are obtained for treatments, re-certifications and discharges.
• Attend meetings and act as rehab delegate to the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with scheduling, billing logs, and client care documentation.
