Job summary

Maple Lawn Manor in Hydro, OK is seeking a caring and reliable cook to join our dietary team. You will maintain a clean kitchen, prepare meals according to dietary supervisor directions, and help serve residents.

The role emphasizes adherence to dietary orders and safety standards, teamwork with staff, and supporting residents with meals. Prior experience in a healthcare kitchen is a plus; training is provided.

PTO, medical, dental and vision available to full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow directions on labels, charts, orders, and signs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Ability to stand and walk for long hours.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe workstation, dishes, equipment, kitchen, and dining area
• Prepare food as directed by dietary supervisor
• Abide by dietary orders and safety guidelines for each resident
• Assist in serving meals
• Report to the dietary supervisor
• Other dietary responsibilities as assigned
