Job summary

Mission Health: Onaga Health and Rehab in Onaga, KS is seeking a full-time Cook to join our compassionate team. You will prepare meals for residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines, ensuring quality, accurate portions, and timely service.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• Cook experience preferred but not required. A willingness to learn is needed.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

• You prepare meals for residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• You ensure the quality and temperature of food items.
• You take care to enhance safety and sanitary conditions and comply with applicable laws and company policies.
