Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a full-time kitchen team member to prepare high-quality meals following standard recipes and dietary orders. You will work with the Director of Food & Beverage and the Sous Chef to manage food prep, inventory, and supply security to ensure timely service.

The role requires at least two years of kitchen experience, knowledge of sanitation practices, and strong communication and customer service in a team environment.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in all stations of a hotel kitchen, restaurant, or similar operation.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with the other restaurant team members.
• Self-motivated, organized, and professional; able to work independently and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage all aspects of food and supply management, including securing items in time for prep, storing leftovers correctly, and maintaining inventories.
