Job summary

Columbus Country Club, part of Troon, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Cook in Columbus, Ohio. You will prepare menu items for restaurant and banquet operations, uphold safety standards, and contribute to a guest-focused dining experience.

We offer $20.00 per hour, with benefits for healthcare, retirement, and paid time off. A high school diploma and food handler certifications are required, along with basic cooking skills and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food handler’s certification and local health/alcohol awareness certifications are required.
• Basic cooking skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items in accordance with established standards and specifications.
• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen walk-in coolers and storage rooms.
• Assist with stocking and rotation of inventory upon arrival and ensure invoice accuracy.
• Support and uphold the Food and Beverage vision by fostering respect, warmth, friendliness, and pride.
• Represent the club in a professional manner and promote a positive image to guests and staff.
• Always operate in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
