Job summary

Eurest is hiring for a full-time Cook at our Vacaville, CA location. You will prepare food in line with federal, state and corporate standards to ensure quality service.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00 am – 1:30 pm. Emphasis on safety, proper portioning, and maintaining clean, efficient kitchen operations. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour and benefits are offered to eligible associates.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring correct temperatures, appearance and taste.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Assists in ordering and receiving all food and supplies as required.
• Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment or accidents to supervisor immediately.
• Follows HACCP standards and company policies to ensure safe food handling.
