Qualifications

• Must have experience in dining services.
• Must be Serv-Safe certified, or willing to complete certification within 60 days of hire.
• Basic understanding of food service operations including budgeting and portion control.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple calculations.
• Able to learn quickly and follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present menu items according to standard recipes.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.
• Monitor and record food temperatures as required.
• Supervise dietary staff in absence of Dining Services Director.
• Ensure kitchen safety and sanitation practices are followed.
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
