Qualifications:

One year food preparation and cooking experience including, but not limited to:grilling, sautéing, broiling, frying, and baking.
Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health
Knowledge and understanding of food safety regulations
Ability to read and understand menus and recipes, substituting equivalents of equal nutritional value when appropriate
Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related disease
Associates must have reliable means of transportation to consistently meet attendance and punctuality standards. This role does not require a valid driver’s license or personal vehicle unless specified in additional job requirements

What you'll be doing:

Prepare and serve the residents in our community
Ensure all dietary needs are prepared and met
Prepared modified food as directed
Ensures accuracy, quality, presentation, and timeliness of food items
Performs other duties as needed

Anticipated pay range: $22 USD - $23 USD
