Job summary

Marcus Theatres is seeking a motivated Cook to join our Culinary Team at the Chesterfield Galaxy Cinema. As a cook with Marcus Theatres, you will be part of a family you can connect with, grow with, and have fun with, contributing to high-volume service and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include setting up kitchen equipment, reading tickets, preparing and cooking to recipes, maintaining sanitation, and helping manage line cleanliness, while delivering quality food and friendly service.

Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Passion for food quality and guest service is required.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food items.
• Set-up of kitchen equipment.
• Station set-up, breakdown, and advance prep as needed.
• Read tickets to produce orders.
• Prep and cooking of food to recipe.
• Maintain high quality level of food production and presentation.
• Maintain sanitation standards.
• Keep line and prep area organized, stocked and clean.
• Follow directions of management and leadership.
• Assist in control of food waste.
