Position Overview:

As a Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet established standards for food preparation, presentation, and service. You’ll help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient kitchen while playing an essential role in delivering a consistent and enjoyable dining experience for our residents.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established menus and guidelines.
• Ensure meals meet established standards for quality, consistency, temperature, and presentation.
• Follow menus and accommodate special dietary requirements and modified meal orders.
• Maintain proper food handling, preparation, storage, and temperature control procedures.
• Safely and efficiently operate commercial kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and food production procedures.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Collaborate with the Dining Services team to ensure timely meal preparation and consistent service for residents.

Position Requirements:

• AHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of experience in cooking, culinary arts, or a related food service environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality and presentation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
