Job summary

Aviva Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our culinary team at The Meetinghouse at Riverfront in Manchester, NH. You will prepare high-quality meals for residents, follow menus, and maintain food safety standards in a caring, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• 1+ year of cooking experience preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present meals according to established menus and recipes.
• Assist with meal preparation for upcoming services and special events.
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
• Monitor food inventory and assist with receiving deliveries.
• Properly store, label, and rotate food products.
• Maintain clean and organized refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen workspaces.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Follow all kitchen procedures and safety protocols.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, guests, and team members.
• Support a positive dining experience for residents.

Schedule

Full-time Cook Current Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 11:00 AM -630 PM

Schedule may be adjusted based on community needs with advance notice.

Cook Responsibilities

As a Cook, you will prepare and serve high-quality meals while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

• Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, hotels, restaurants, or long-term care
• ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain certification)
