Job summary
Rusin Concrete Construction in Colorado Springs is seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate concrete and construction equipment on commercial and residential projects. The operator works with the foreman and crew to prep sites, move materials, assist with concrete installation, and maintain equipment and safety.
You’ll handle skid steers, mini excavators, loaders, forklifts, power buggies, saws, and related gear, perform daily inspections, and follow
Qualifications
- Experience operating construction or concrete equipment.
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
- Experience on residential and commercial sites preferred.
- Safety-focused and dependable.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate concrete and construction equipment on projects.
- Assist with excavation, grading, and site preparation.
- Support concrete placement by transporting and positioning materials.
- Assist forming, reinforcing, pouring, finishing concrete when needed.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report safety concerns.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
- Follow foreman instructions and project plans.
- Communicate effectively with crew about equipment and conditions.
