Job summary

Quince Orchard Dental Care is seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant in Gaithersburg, MD. The ideal candidate will work closely with the dentist to treat young patients, maintain a welcoming environment, and support anesthesia and X-ray processes.

Strong communication, empathy, and a positive attitude are essential. Experience in pediatric dentistry and radiology certification are preferred; Spanish speakers are a plus. Schedule is full-time, with weekday hours and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Pediatric dental experience preferred.
• Current radiology license/certification is required.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during pediatric procedures and exams.
• Reassure and comfort children during visits.
• Prepare treatment rooms and keep a child-friendly environment.
• Take and process X-rays of patients.
• Manage patient records and assist with payments.
• Support communication of oral hygiene instructions.
