Job summary

Arkansas Hospice, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal hygiene and basic care to patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The role requires completion of CNA training and current licensure, with preferred prior direct patient care experience in healthcare settings. The CNA will support the interdisciplinary team, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, clean patient environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with completion of a CNA training program.
• Previous direct patient care experience preferred in hospital, long-term care facility, or hospice.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license/registration required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Perform routine patient care tasks (bath, grooming, oral care, feeding assistance) as directed.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and proper documentation of care provided.
• Observe patient status and report changes to the RN promptly.
• Ensure confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
