Catholic Charities Diocese of Cleveland is hiring for a full-time van operator in Cleveland, OH. The role involves driving a passenger van to transport clients, equipment and supplies, with a strong emphasis on safety and accurate documentation.

You will maintain records, perform basic vehicle care, and ensure passenger welfare in all trips. The position requires a valid Ohio license, driving experience, and completion of multiple safety and health certifications, including First Aid/CPR and

Formación

• Minimum two years of licensed driving experience.
• Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and annual MVR check.
• Alcohol and drug test required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Defensive Driving certificate with 4-hour refresher every 3 years.
• DRIVE – Transporting Older and Disabled Adults certificate within 6 months.
• Bloodborne pathogens training within 6 months.
• Fingerprinting for background check.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain a passenger van in accordance with safety regulations.
• Transport people, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently.
• Assist in loading/unloading and transferring clients to and from vehicles.
• Document vehicle use, mileage, repairs and service in records.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic vehicle checks as required.
