Commonwealth Senior Living at South Boston is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment across the community. You will follow established procedures and assist the Maintenance Director as needed, ensuring resident spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Competenze

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• High school graduate or equivalent credentials preferred.
• Minimum of one year of housekeeping experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions with established procedures as assigned.
• Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies.
• Clean floors, including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing and disinfecting.
• Clean carpets, including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Clean and polish furnishings in hallways and stairways, when applicable.
• Clean resident rooms, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, and sanitizing bathrooms, mirrors, and pictures.
• Collect trash from rooms, offices, lounges, and bathrooms daily.
• Report repairs to maintenance personnel or Executive Director.
• Keep equipment, storage areas, janitor closets, and carts clean and uncluttered, free of hazards.
• Respond to residents' needs as requested.
• Launder community linens as needed.
• Inform Executive Director of supply needs in a timely manner.
