Job summary

FreshPoint Charlotte, a division of FreshPoint North Carolina, Inc., is seeking a full-time warehouse associate to perform general warehouse functions, including loading, unloading, receiving, put-away, and order selection. The role requires working in freezer, cooler, and dry environments.

You will use RF scanners and a warehouse management system, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and follow PWMs and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Able to work in team environment and follow safety rules.
• Reach truck and material handling equipment certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pallets received meet defined requirements.
• Enter/scan item receipts with LPN, catch-weight, date into WMS using RF devices.
• Verify item information against bills of lading and invoices.
• Inspect products for shortages, damage, or deterioration.
• Record overages, shortages and damages on OS&D forms.
• Operate MHE (including forklifts) safely and maintain equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and correct warehouse locations.
• Follow PWMs and safety policies; report unsafe conditions.
