Job summary

Eurest in Libertyville, IL is hiring for a full-time Cold Food (Salad) position. Location: Hollister Drive, hours Monday–Friday; kitchen experience required. Duties include preparing sandwiches, salads and other cold items, with emphasis on portion control, temperatures, and sanitation.

Compensation is $19.00 per hour, with benefits for full-time employees. Applications accepted online only. Internal referral bonus available.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience required.
• Experience with deli/salad preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Cuts deli meats, vegetables and cheeses using slicing machine or knives.
• Prepares sandwiches, salads and other cold food items.
• Stocks and replenishes deli/cold products and condiments per merchandising guidelines.
• Cleans and sanitizes counters, work surfaces and equipment.
• Maintains proper portion control and serving temperatures.
