Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide for the Carolinas Medical Center Emergency Department in Charlotte. This full-time position requires a 36-hour workweek with a 11-11 schedule and benefits eligibility.

You will support patients with daily living activities, hygiene, vital signs, and documentation, while assisting with basic clerical tasks and inventory management. Required: High School Diploma or GED, Nurse Aide Registry listing, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I or Nurse Aide II eligibility.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living for patients/residents.
• Assists with personal hygiene and daily care.
• Takes vital signs and measurements as directed.
• Maintains clean, orderly patient rooms and environment.
• Observes patient changes and reports to RN promptly.
• Performs clerical tasks and data entry as needed.
• Manages unit inventory and supplies.
• Performs ECG and venipuncture within training guidelines.
