Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have current Texas CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of state-approved nurse aide training program.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding as needed.
• Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and condition, reporting significant changes to nursing staff.
• Support patient mobility and exercise routines to promote recovery and prevent complications.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient environment following infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with nurses and therapies to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families.
• Assist with preparation and transport of patients for procedures or therapy sessions.
