Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, Required.
• 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility or equivalent.
• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program or Certified Medical Assistant program.
• Nursing student who completes first semester of a Nursing Program.
• Documented military medic/corpsman experience or foreign nursing graduate not licensed in US.
• EMT Certification/Paramedic License.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Technician under the direction of the professional staff assists with patient care and provides support to the patient, nursing unit and professional staff.
