Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver quality care to residents in a warm, home-like environment in California. You will assist with daily living activities and help residents maintain dignity and independence.

The role emphasizes documentation, communication with care teams, and providing emotional support. Prior CNA experience is preferred but not required; dementia care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license required.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required.
• Experience with residents with dementia is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care and report changes to staff promptly.
• Engage residents in activities and provide emotional support.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care with a focus on resident well-being.
• Perform other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
