Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Middletown, CT is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver resident care in a warm, home-like setting. The role focuses on assisting with daily living activities and supporting residents with dementia as needed.

You will document care, communicate changes to the care team, and provide emotional support while upholding the highest standards of safety and respect. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report health or behavior changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional care.
• Perform other duties as needed.
