Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Middletown, CT is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver high-quality resident care in a warm, home-like environment. You will assist with activities of daily living and communicate changes in health or behavior to the care team.

Valid CNA license is required; prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting is preferred but not required, and dementia experience is a plus.

• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Documenting care provided and reporting changes to staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional care.
• Other duties as needed.
