Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide attentive care to residents in a warm, home-like environment. You will work to support daily living activities, monitor health changes, and collaborate with the care team to ensure compassionate service.

The role emphasizes compassionate interactions, documentation accuracy, and engaging residents in meaningful activities while supporting dementia care needs where applicable.

Qualifications

• CNA license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing/assisted living preferred but not required.
• Experience with residents with dementia desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Apply customer service skills to ensure high-quality care.
• Perform other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
