Job summary

Apploi in Quitman, TX is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. We offer full-time hours with a 6am-6pm shift and benefits for eligible staff. You will provide compassionate resident care, monitor daily activities, and support a safe, respectful environment.

Requirements include CNA license, at least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical exposure, and strong communication in English. We value teamwork, patience, and a genuine desire to help the ill and elderly.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Minimum 6 months experience as CNA or clinical experience in a CNA program.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to deal tactfully with residents, family, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
• Must be in good health and emotionally stable.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions coordinator.
• Make beds and clean bedside tables.
• Assure water pitchers are cleaned and filled and within resident reach.
• Other related duties as directed by Charge Nurse or Administrator.
