Job summary

You will collaborate with licensed staff, monitor vital signs, assist with mobility, dining, and documentation, and participate in ongoing training to maintain CNA certification.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state you will work.
• CPR certification.
• AZ fingerprint clearance.
• TB test completion.
• 1+ year of experience in a skilled nursing or similar medical setting preferred.
• Compassionate, empathetic care mindset.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using proper techniques.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nursing staff.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Support social and recreational activities and provide companionship.
• Maintain a clean, infection-controlled living environment.
• Assist with dining services and track food and fluid intake.
• Document care and observations accurately per policies.
• Participate in training to maintain CNA verification.
• Assist new CNAs with orientation and training.
• Participate in team meetings and care planning.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and effective communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
