Job summary

Christian Care Living is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for full-time temporary staffing in the Nursing department. The CNA will support the care team by assisting guests with ADLs, following care plans, and maintaining safety, dignity, and HIPAA compliance.

Candidates must have Michigan CNA certification or be eligible to test, a high school diploma, and at least one year of long-term care or healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.
• Able to verbally communicate with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Shows dependability by being punctual and maintaining good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to guests in an environment that promotes rights, dignity, and independence.
• Assists guests with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Maintains guest safety and privacy, follows care plans and infection control procedures.
• Completes documentation in PCC per department policies while maintaining confidentiality.
• Responds to call lights promptly and works nights and weekends to meet guest needs.
