Job summary

Forest Hills of DC invites dedicated CNAs to join our compassionate caregiving team in Washington, DC. You will assist residents with daily living activities and follow individualized care plans to promote comfort, dignity, and independence.

Qualifications

• Current District of Columbia CNA license with Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR license.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must relate information concerning the residents’ health.
• Must meet general health requirements.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Forest Hills of DC residents with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, grooming, dressing, locomotion, feeding) in accordance with individualized care plan.
• Assist residents in Assisted Living/Memory Care with daily living activities, such as light housekeeping, meal prep, and engaging interactions.
• Assist resident in meeting their personal care needs and provide individualized attention while encouraging resident involvement in self-care.

• Assist resident in meeting their personal care needs and provided individualized attention while encouraging resident involvement in self-care.

Job Requirements

• Current District of Columbia CNA license with Board of Nursing
• Current CPR license
• Must posses’ excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to relate information concerning the residents’ health.
• Must meet general health requirements.
• Must be able to carry, push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty pounds.
• Must have personal integrity, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with residents.
