Job summary

Forest Hills of DC is seeking a dedicated CNA for day-shift care and companionship. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, following individualized care plans, and contribute to a supportive, respectful community in a nonprofit setting.

Requirements include a DC CNA license, CPR certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Current District of Columbia CNA license with Board of Nursing.
• Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, locomotion, and feeding.
• Must meet general health requirements and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Forest Hills of DC residents with activities of daily living per individualized care plans.
• Support residents with daily living activities such as light housekeeping and meal prep.

Schedule: Day Shift (7 a.m. - 3 p.m.)

Pay: $22 per hour plus $500 sign-on bonus!

Job Duties

• Assist Forest Hills of DC residents with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, grooming, dressing, locomotion, feeding) in accordance with individualized care plan.
• Assist Forest Hills residents in Assisted Living/Memory Care with daily living activities, such as light housekeeping, meal prep, and engaging interactions. Every task contributes to their happiness, all while following their individualized care plans.
• Assist resident in meeting their personal care needs and provided individualized attention while encouraging resident involvement in self-care.

Job Requirements

• Current District of Columbia CNA license with Board of Nursing
• Current CPR license
• Must posses’ excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to relate information concerning the residents’ health.
• Must meet general health requirements.
• Must be able to carry, push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty pounds.
• Must have personal integrity, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with residents.
