University of Miami Hospital & Clinics is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join the staff in a full-time capacity at the Sole Mia - Surgery location. You will support patient hygiene, mobility, feeding, and basic clinical tasks under supervision.

As a frontline caregiver, you will work with the nursing team to monitor patients, document intake, and respond to calls promptly, contributing to a safe and supportive hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; certification or license.
• Valid State of Florida CNA license required.
• 0–1 year minimum experience.
• Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team.
• Proficiency with office software and relevant computer applications.

Responsabilités

• Provide for patients’ personal hygiene and assist with baths, showers, and grooming.
• Assist with meals, feeding, mobility, and turning patients.
• Administer simple treatments and apply basic dressings and preps as directed.
• Perform urine testing, specimen collection, and basic post‑mortem care.
• Answer call lights promptly and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Transports patients and equipment; report conditions to RN for assessment.
