University of Miami Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential patient care in a high-volume oncology unit. You will assist with personal hygiene, meals, mobility and comfort measures under the supervision of registered nurses.

The role requires responsiveness to patient needs, strict safety practices, and teamwork within a busy clinical setting. Qualified candidates hold Florida CNA certification and a high school diploma, with 0–1 year of experience preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid State of Florida Certificated Nursing Assistant Certification.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, nights and weekends as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Provides for patients’ personal hygiene and helps with bathing, feeding and mobility.
• Assists with meals, ambulation, turning/positioning and hydration.
• Administers basic procedures and comfort measures under supervision.
• Performs urine tests, specimen collection and post-mortem care as required.
• Responds to patient call lights and requests promptly.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment and transports patients/equipment.
• Reports patient conditions to the assigned nurse for assessment.
• Monitors intake/output and records vital signs; assists with walking and exercises.
